Gait‐D: Skeleton‐based gait feature decomposition for gait recognition

open access: yesIET Computer Vision, 2022
The general silhouette‐based gait recognition methods usually rely on binary human silhouette, which is easily affected by external factors, making it unsuitable for situations while wearing heavy clothes or carrying objects, etc.

Dimensional analysis of image motion [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings Eighth IEEE International Conference on Computer Vision. ICCV 2001, 2002
Studies of image motion typically address motion categories on a case-by-case basis. Examples include a moving point, a moving contour, or a 2D optical flow field. The typical assumption made in these studies is that there is a unique velocity at each moving point in the image. In this paper we relax this assumption.

A Motion Image Pose Contour Extraction Method Based on B-Spline Wavelet

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2021
In order to improve the accuracy of traditional motion image pose contour extraction and shorten the extraction time, a motion image pose contour extraction method based on B-spline wavelet is proposed.

Morphological image analysis of quantum motion in billiards [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review E, 2000
Morphological image analysis is applied to the time evolution of the probability distribution of a quantum particle moving in two and three-dimensional billiards. It is shown that the time-averaged Euler characteristic of the probability density provides a well defined quantity to distinguish between classically integrable and non-integrable billiards.

A Feedback-Based Algorithm for Motion Analysis with Application to Object Tracking

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing, 2007
We present a motion detection algorithm which detects direction of motion at sufficient number of points and thus segregates the edge image into clusters of coherently moving points.

De-ghosting in High Dynamic Range Imaging Based on Intensity Scaling Cue

open access: yesAdvances in Electrical and Computer Engineering, 2020
A High Dynamic Range (HDR) image produced from a sequence of low dynamic range (LDR) images can contain motion artefacts (ghosting) if the scene contains moving objects.

The determination of high-resolution spatio-temporal glacier motion fields from time-lapse sequences [PDF]

open access: yesEarth Surface Dynamics, 2017
This paper presents a comprehensive method for the determination of glacier surface motion vector fields at high spatial and temporal resolution. These vector fields can be derived from monocular terrestrial camera image sequences and are a valuable ...
