Sirolimus for Extracranial Arteriovenous Malformations: A Scoping Review of the Evidence in Syndromic and Non‐Syndromic Cases

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) are rare, high‐flow, vascular anomalies that can occur either sporadically or as part of a genetic syndrome. AVMs can progress with serious morbidity and even mortality if left unchecked. Sirolimus is an mTOR inhibitor that is effective in low‐flow vascular malformations; however, its role in AVMs is unclear.

Intravitreal GD2‐Specific Chimeric Antigen Receptor T‐Cell Therapy for Refractory Retinoblastoma

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Effective treatments for advanced, treatment‐resistant retinoblastoma (RB) remain limited. GD2‐specific chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells show potent antitumor activity with minimal toxicity but have not previously been evaluated in RB.

Memory‐ and time‐efficient dense network for single‐image super‐resolution

open access: yesIET Signal Processing, 2021
Dense connections in convolutional neural networks (CNNs), which connect each layer to every other layer, can compensate for mid/high‐frequency information loss and further enhance high‐frequency signals. However, dense CNNs suffer from high memory usage

FSRNet: End-to-End Learning Face Super-Resolution with Facial Priors

open access: yes, 2017
Face Super-Resolution (SR) is a domain-specific super-resolution problem. The specific facial prior knowledge could be leveraged for better super-resolving face images.

Super resolution image reconstruction from low resolution aliased images

open access: yes2008 IEEE 16th Signal Processing, Communication and Applications Conference, 2008
Super resolution(SR) algorithms reconstruct a higher resolution image from a set of low resolution images of a scene. Precise alignment of image set is the essential part of these algorithms. If the low resolution images are undersampled and have aliasing effects, performance of the registration algorithms will decrease.

Germline TP53 Mutations Causing Diamond–Blackfan Anemia: A French Report

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Diamond–Blackfan anemia is a rare congenital erythroblastopenia typically caused by mutations in ribosomal protein genes. Recently, gain‐of‐function mutations in TP53 have been identified as a novel cause of Diamond–Blackfan anemia. We report two French patients who both harbored a heterozygous TP53 deletion (NM_000546.5: c.1077delA; p ...

Image Deconvolution to Resolve Astronomical X-Ray Sources in Close Proximity: The NuSTAR Images of SXP 15.3 and SXP 305

open access: yesAlgorithms
The broad point spread function of the NuSTAR telescope makes resolving astronomical X-ray sources a challenging task, especially for off-axis observations.

Process of image super-resolution

open access: yes, 2020
In this paper we explain a process of super-resolution reconstruction allowing to increase the resolution of an image. The need for high-resolution digital images exists in diverse domains, for example the medical and spatial domains.

Multipass holographic interferometer improves image resolution [PDF]

open access: yes, 1970
Multipass holographic interferometer forms a hologram of high diffraction efficiency, and hence provides a bright and high contrast interferogram. It is used to study any effect which changes the index of refraction and to study surface deformations of a

Hyperspectral pan-sharpening: a variational convex constrained formulation to impose parallel level lines, solved with ADMM

open access: yes, 2014
In this paper, we address the issue of hyperspectral pan-sharpening, which consists in fusing a (low spatial resolution) hyperspectral image HX and a (high spatial resolution) panchromatic image P to obtain a high spatial resolution hyperspectral image ...
