Saliency-Guided Image Translation
2021 IEEE/CVF Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR), 2021In this paper, we propose a novel task for saliency-guided image translation, with the goal of image-to-image translation conditioned on the user specified saliency map. To address this problem, we develop a novel Generative Adversarial Network (GAN)-based model, called SalG-GAN. Given the original image and target saliency map, SalG-GAN can generate a

360-aware saliency estimation with conventional image saliency predictors
Signal Processing: Image Communication, 2018Abstract This work explores saliency prediction for panoramic 360°-scenes stored as equirectangular images, using exclusively regular “flat” image saliency predictors. The simple equirectangular projection causes severe distortions in the resulting image, which need to be compensated for sensible saliency prediction in all viewports.

Exemplar-based image saliency and co-saliency detection
Neurocomputing, 2020Abstract Image saliency and co-saliency detection that aim to detect salient objects in an image or common salient objects in a group of images are import in computer vision. Researchers often treat saliency and co-saliency as two separate problems.

Multi-Exposure Decomposition-Fusion Model for High Dynamic Range Image Saliency Detection
IEEE transactions on circuits and systems for video technology (Print), 2020High dynamic range (HDR) imaging techniques have witnessed a great improvement in the past few decades. However, saliency detection task on HDR content is still far from well explored.

Classification Saliency-Based Rule for Visible and Infrared Image Fusion
IEEE Transactions on Computational Imaging, 2021Existing image fusion methods always use hand-crafted fusion rules due to the uninterpretability of deep feature maps, which restrict the performance of networks and result in distortion.
