A CMOS Image Readout Circuit with On-Chip Defective Pixel Detection and Correction
Images produced by CMOS sensors may contain defective pixels due to noise, manufacturing errors, or device malfunction, which must be detected and corrected at early processing stages in order to produce images that are useful to human users and image ...

Incremental refinement of image salient-point detection [PDF]
Low-level image analysis systems typically detect "points of interest", i.e., areas of natural images that contain corners or edges. Most of the robust and computationally efficient detectors proposed for this task use the autocorrelation matrix of the ...

ABSTRACT We present two pediatric cases of pediatric low‐grade gliomas (PLGG) with BRAF V600E mutations diagnosed and monitored using cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) liquid biopsy analyzed via digital droplet PCR (ddPCR), without tissue biopsy. Both patients were treated with dabrafenib and trametinib and monitored through clinical assessments, magnetic ...

A polarisation‐analysing CMOS image sensor for sensitive polarisation modulation detection
In this study, a polarisation‐analysing CMOS image sensor is fabricated for sensitive polarisation modulation detection. Although the image sensor with on‐pixel polarisers can image the incident polarisation collectively, its sensitivity to a weak ...

ABSTRACT Ongoing evidence indicates increased risk of sarcopenic obesity among children and young people (CYP) with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), often beginning early in treatment, persisting into survivorship. This review evaluates current literature on body composition in CYP with ALL during and after treatment.

CMOS image sensor for spatiotemporal image acquisition [PDF]
We present a 64-×64-pixel CMOS image sensor chip that can acquire a 16-gray-level image containing both spatial and temporal information of the moving luminous object under observation. The image can next be processed using any image processing software in order to determine the speed, trajectory, and direction of motion of the moving object.
