Image sensor module and a method for evaluating an image sensor
Optical Sensors 2019, 2019An image sensor module that comprises a die, wherein the die comprises light sensors and optics; and wherein the optics comprises luminescent elements that represent die manufacturing information that is indicative of a manufacturing process of the die.

The main goal of this paper is to expose the EDA community to the emerging class of circuits operating with single quanta of energy (e.g. photons or electrical carriers). We describe recent developments in the field of single-photon detection and single-photon imaging based on the avalanche effect.

Fast Imaging Sensor Identification
2021We consider identification of imaging devices by analysing images they produce. The problem is studied in the literature, yet the existing solutions are rather computationally demanding. We propose a high-speed algorithm for identification of imaging devices.

Millimeter-Wave Imaging Sensor
SPIE Proceedings, 1986A dual polarized 3-mm radiometer system, with a mechanically scanned antenna, has been built for use on a small aircraft or RPV to produce near real-time moderate resolution (0.5°) images of the ground. One of the main advantages of this passive imaging sensor is that it is able to provide surveillance information through clouds, smoke, and dust when ...

Interferometric sensors for spectral imaging
Sensors and Actuators A: Physical, 2005An interferometric sensor based on a partly transparent amorphous silicon n–i–p diode was realized. The combination of the sensor with a tunable micromirror facilitates the realization of a novel microspectrometer. The working principle of the sensor based on the sampling of a standing wave created in front of the tunable mirror.

Design, operation and measurement results of a CMOS camera implemented within a SOI wafer are presented. The peak of photodiode quantum efficiency is obtained for the wavelengths of 400-500 nm. In addition, noise measurements of the 1/f noise in P-MOS and N-MOS transistors for analog applications are reported under wide bias conditions ranging from ...

After a short treatment of the basic principles involved in visible-light image sensors the factors determining resolution, sensitivity and dynamic range are discussed. Recent improvements in XY-addressed, interline and frame transfer sensors are presented to demonstrate the versatility of design and technology.
