Bhattacharyya Distance for Blind Image Steganalysis
2010 International Conference on Multimedia Information Networking and Security, 2010This paper explores Bhattacharyya Distance principle and introduces it to recognize stego algorithms in use. First of all, we select the most important features by the means of applying Bhattacharyya distance. Then, BP neural network is used to classify cover and stego images.

Steganalysis Based on Difference Image
2009This paper presents a performance comparison between Harmsen's method and a family of Steganalysis Method based on Difference Image (SMDI), in order to promote steganalysis theory. The theoretical analysis begins from the commonness of SMDI, and is focused on the assessment of the statistical change degree between cover and stego, showing that SMDI ...

IMAGE STEGANOGRAPHY AND STEGANALYSIS: CONCEPTS AND PRACTICE
2004In the last few years, we have seen many new and powerful steganography and steganalysis techniques reported in the literature. In the following paper we go over some general concepts and ideas that apply to steganography and steganalysis. Specifically we establish a framework and define notion of security for a steganographic system.

Local correlation pattern for image steganalysis
2015 IEEE China Summit and International Conference on Signal and Information Processing (ChinaSIP), 2015Correlation of pixels is the most important information used for image steganalysis. Current methods often consider some special types of relationships among neighboring pixels. In this paper, we propose a general descriptor to consider the correlation of pixels comprehensively.

Improved Weighted Stego Image Steganalysis
2010This chapter builds on the weighted stego image (WS) steganalysis method, a quantitative detector for LSB replacement steganography invented by Fridrich and Goljan [73]. Section 2.10.4 above contains a detailed description of the method in its original form (hence called ‘standard WS’).

Steganography and Steganalysis in Digital Images
2012Abstract : Steganography (from the Greek for covered writing) is the secret transmission of a message. Its main distinction from encryption relies on the capacity of making a message altogether invisible. A steganographic message may also be encrypted, for extra security in the case of interception but it actually may not be needed.

Novel Blind Steganalysis for JPEG Images
2009A new blind steganalytic scheme is proposed in this paper for JPEG images. Based on the DCT domain and the decompressed spatial domain, nine statistical models are constructed for a JPEG image. By using the center of mass (COM) of histogram characteristic function (HCF), we calculate the energy distribution for each statistical model in the frequency ...

Convolutional Neural Networks for Image Steganalysis
BioNanoScience, 2016© 2016, Springer Science+Business Media New York.Mathematical models based on human neuronal network behavior have recently become extremely popular and arouse interest as a solution of various computer vision problems. One of these models—Convolutional Neural Network—has been proven to be very efficient for object recognition problems and resembles ...
