Quantitative steganalysis of binary images
2004 International Conference on Image Processing, 2004. ICIP '04., 2005We propose a quantitative steganalysis method to detect hidden information embedded by flipping pixels along boundaries in binary images. We model steganographic embedding as an additive noise process and use compression rate as a distinguishing statistic that aids in discriminating between stego-images and cover-images.

Metric learning for image steganalysis
2015 12th International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Knowledge Discovery (FSKD), 2015Image steganalysis based on supervised distance metric learning is to find an appropriate measure of similarity between image features where the distribution discrepancy between cover-images and stego-images are analyzed in the reduced dimensional space.

EIS-OBEA: Enhanced Image Steganalysis via Opposition-Based Evolutionary Algorithm
IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and SecurityRecent years have witnessed a spurt progress in steganography, which poses challenges for steganalysis. However, previous steganalysis methods attach equal attention to various feature information, while key feature information in detection is ...

Image steganography is the process of sending messages secretly by hiding the message in AN image content. Although steganography hides information in any kinds of digital mediums, digital images are the most popular carrier because of the frequency of usage in the internet.

Halftone Image Steganalysis by Reconstructing Grayscale Image
2021Utilizing some special pixels patterns constructing the steganalytic features is popular in binary image steganalysis, which could be also used in halftone image. There is almost no specific image steganalysis for halftone image. In this paper, a halftone image steganalysis scheme is proposed and achieves a satisfactory performance, which is totally ...

AAS: Automatic Virtual Data Augmentation for Deep Image Steganalysis
IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure ComputingIn recent years, steganalysis based on deep learning has evolved rapidly. However, training deep learning models is data-consuming. The models are prone to overfitting when data is limited. Data augmentation is an effective method to mitigate overfitting.

Embedding Probability Guided Network for Image Steganalysis
IEEE Signal Processing Letters, 2021Content-adaptive steganography embeds information into the cover image adaptively under the guidance of embedding probabilities (also known as selection channel) of the image elements, which can also be obtained by the steganalyzer.

Steganalysis Based on Difference Image
2009This paper presents a performance comparison between Harmsen's method and a family of Steganalysis Method based on Difference Image (SMDI), in order to promote steganalysis theory. The theoretical analysis begins from the commonness of SMDI, and is focused on the assessment of the statistical change degree between cover and stego, showing that SMDI ...

A framework for steganalysis of images in internet traffic
International Journal of Computer Aided Engineering and Technology, 2011This paper presents a framework for monitoring internet traffic to detect the presence of hidden information in images that were subjected to steganography. The framework of steganalysis environment comprises three stages: pre-processing, statistical and distortion.
