A Robust UAV Hyperspectral Image Stitching Method Based on Deep Feature Matching
IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, 2022Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) hyperspectral imaging has been extensively applied in various fields. However, due to the limited imaging width, hyperspectral images (HSIs) captured by UAV need to be stitched, so as to effectively cover the study area.

Image stitching with dynamic elements
Image and Vision Computing, 2009This paper presents a new combination of techniques to create pleasing and physically consistent image mosaics despite the presence of moving objects in the scene. The technique uses heuristic seam selection in the intensity and gradient-domains to choose which pixels to use from each image and then blends them smoothly to create the final mosaic.

Automatic Quaternion-Domain Color Image Stitching
IEEE Transactions on Image ProcessingTaking advantages of the quaternion representation of the color image, this paper proposes a quaternion perceptual seamline detection model to generate the seamline in the quaternion domain.

Towards Robust Image Stitching: An Adaptive Resistance Learning against Compatible Attacks
AAAI Conference on Artificial IntelligenceImage stitching seamlessly integrates images captured from varying perspectives into a single wide field-of-view image. Such integration not only broadens the captured scene but also augments holistic perception in computer vision applications.

Underwater Image Stitching [PDF]
For years, panoramic image stitching has been an interesting problem for re- searchers. Several advances have been made in stitching images that are ac- quired outside of water, but the problem has been poorly explored for under- water images. Image stitching for underwater images can be used in numerous scientific applications in the fields of marine ...

Real-time Seamless Image Stitching in Autonomous Driving
Fusion, 2022Autonomous vehicles depend on an accurate perception of their surroundings. For this purpose, different approaches are used to detect traffic participants such as cars, cyclists, and pedestrians, as well as static objects.

UAV Image Stitching Using Shape-Preserving Warp Combined With Global Alignment
IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters, 2022In this letter, we propose a strategy for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) image stitching to generate natural-looking panoramas. Traditional methods using homography to perform alignment cannot account for images with parallax, so they require that the ...

Defect detection of large wind turbine blades based on image stitching and improved Unet network
Journal of Renewable and Sustainable Energy, 2022Aiming at the problem that the existing computer vision detection technology is difficult to comprehensively and carefully detect the damage status of large wind turbine blades due to the limitation of field of view.

Image stitching or photo stitching is the process of combining multiple photographic images with overlapping fields of view to produce a segmented panorama or high-resolution image. Commonly performed through the use of computer software, most approaches to image stitching require nearly exact overlaps between images and identical exposures to produce ...

Algorithm for image stitching in the infrared
Infrared Technology and Applications XLV, 2019The paper considers the question of stitching of infrared images obtained from different points and with the modified internal parameters of the camera. As test data, we use images taken by the thermal camera. To combine pairs of images, we use the several auxiliary algorithms are required, including: elimination of noise on images (denoising ...
