Reactive oxygen species act as signaling molecules to control root hair initiation and tip growth
Summary Root hairs (RHs) increase the surface area of roots, facilitating nutrient and water uptake and plant anchorage. RHs form from root epidermal cells and elongate by polar tip growth. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) have recently been implicated as important signals that drive RH formation and elongation using both genetic and imaging approaches ...

DNA Hanger: Surface‐Minimized Single‐Molecule Immunoassay Platform
The DNA Hanger platform suspends long DNA molecules biotinylated along their length away from the surface, effectively minimizing nonspecific protein binding. The assay achieves high sensitivity and specificity in single‐molecule FLISA down to subpicomolar levels.

A Sub‐Diffraction‐Limit Dimension All‐Plasmonic Optical Memory Using Non‐Linear Photochromism
An all‐plasmonic optical memory is demonstrated by using nonlinear plasmonics on a sub‐diffraction limit plasmonic nanowire waveguide coated with a photochromic diarylethene that supports the complete memory processes, “Write”, “Erase”, and “Readout” the memory ON/OFF states. Abstract The development of compact, high‐speed, and energy‐efficient optical
