Abnormal Breast Temperature and Cortical Enlargement of the Axillary Lymph Nodes Through the Thermography. [PDF]

open access: yesClin Case Rep
ABSTRACT Breast thermography may be used for the early detection of breast diseases in women younger than 50 years. Performed breast thermography on a woman in her 20s, revealing an average temperature difference of about 1°C. Ultrasound imaging further identified a simple cyst and enlarged, vascularized lymph nodes in both axillae.

Baseline Results Investigate APOE‐Memory Connection in Latin‐American Population at Risk for Dementia ‐ LatAm‐FINGERS Initial Insights [PDF]

open access: yesAlzheimers Dement
Abstract Background Latin America (LA) faces heightened vulnerability to modifiable dementia risk factors. Early identification of at‐risk individuals is crucial for implementing effective preventive strategies. The Free and Cued Selective Reminding Test with Immediate Recall (FCSRT‐IR) is promising in early detection of mnemonic impairment, with high ...

S-RNase Internalisation and Vacuolar Targeting via Clathrin-Dependent Endocytosis Mediate Interspecific Pollen Rejection in Nicotiana. [PDF]

open access: yesPhysiol Plant
ABSTRACT In Nicotiana, the multiallelic S‐locus controls self‐incompatibility (SI), which encodes S‐RNases in the pollen's pistil and S‐locus F‐box (SLF) proteins. Their interaction mediates S allele‐specific pollen rejection, preventing self‐fertilisation.
