Three-dimensional polarimetric integral imaging
Optics Letters, 2004A three-dimensional (3D) polarimetric image sensing and display technique based on integral imaging is proposed. Three-dimensional polarization distribution of reflected light from a 3D object can be measured as elemental image arrays by a rotating linear polarizer.

Three-dimensional spectrally encoded imaging
Optics Letters, 2003A method for three-dimensional surface measurements with phase-sensitive spectrally encoded imaging is demonstrated. Both transverse and depth information is transmitted through a single-mode optical fiber, allowing this scheme to be incorporated into a miniature probe.

Three-dimensional terahertz wave imaging
Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society of London. Series A: Mathematical, Physical and Engineering Sciences, 2003Pulsed terahertz (THz) wave sensing and imaging is a coherent measurement technology. Like radar, based on the phase and amplitude of the THz pulse at each frequency, THz waves provide temporal and spectroscopic information that allows us to develop various three-dimensional (3D) terahertz tomographic imaging modalities.

Three-Dimensional Radionuclide Imaging: Stereoscintiphotography
Radiology, 1971Abstract Stereoscopic views of body organs containing radioactive nuclides have been made with the Anger camera in more than 160 patients. Satisfactory stereoscintiphotographic images were made of a variety of conditions but proved to be most useful in the clinical evaluation of brain tumors.

Three-dimensional imaging in ultrasound
Journal of Medical Systems, 1982Ultrasonic three-dimensional images are constructed by “stacking” B-scan tomograms or ultrasonic CAT scans with a computer algorithm for subsequent perspective or sectional display. Perspective images of surfaces representing Doppler measurements of fluid velocity are illustrated in combination with isovelocity contours for flows through a flexible ...
