Auto‐Click Synthesis of a Copper(I)–N‐Heterocyclic Carbene Porous Organic Polymer and Its Transmetalation to Palladium(II) for Azide–Alkyne Cycloaddition and Cross‐Coupling Reactions

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, Volume 29, Issue 23, 13 August 2026.
An azide‐functionalized Cu(I)–NHC complex acts as both a monomer and a catalyst in an auto‐click polymerization, yielding a Cu(I)–NHC polymer that can be transmetalated to Pd(II). The two materials catalyze copper‐catalyzed azide–alkyne cycloaddition, C–N/C–O coupling, and Suzuki–Miyaura reactions, while copper reloading restores activity.

On Determination Method for Resolution of Secondary Electron Images in Scanning Electron Microscopy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 44, 7 August 2026.
An idealized SEM, termed Rayleigh's microscope, is constructed by Monte Carlo simulation to represent imaging conditions that just satisfy the Rayleigh criterion. Based on this physically defined model, sharpness–resolution conversion curves are established and combined with the Rose criterion, enabling automated resolution evaluation from practical ...

In‐Memory Continuous‐Time SAT Solver Based on Bidirectional 11‐T SRAM Macro

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, Volume 8, Issue 8, August 2026.
This article reported a continuous‐time (CT) Boolean satisfiability (SAT) problem solver using bidirectional 11T‐SRAM macro. The proposed system operates asynchronously using capacitor‐based gradient integration and maximizes the parallelism for SAT solving by in‐memory computing (IMC).

Quality indicators for safe and effective medication use in long‐term care facilities: A modified Delphi study

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, Volume 92, Issue 8, Page 2657-2671, August 2026.
Aim This modified Delphi study aimed to achieve expert agreement on quality indicators (QIs) suitable for application at the population level, to evaluate quality use of medications and pharmacist services in long‐term care facilities (LTCFs). Methods We conducted a two‐round modified online Delphi study with a multidisciplinary panel of Australian ...

Incidence, contributing factors, and predictors of diagnostic errors in medical inpatients: A retrospective cohort study

open access: yesJournal of Hospital Medicine, Volume 21, Issue 8, Page 854-863, August 2026.
Abstract Background Diagnostic error is a major patient safety concern in hospitals, yet most studies have focused on selected high‐risk subgroups, leaving the broader general internal medicine inpatient population understudied. Objectives To determine the incidence, contributing factors, resulting harm, and predictors of diagnostic error in medical ...

Coupled Structural Characteristics Boost Brazing Performance of Ti2AlNb Alloy

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 8, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Brazing of Ti2AlNb alloy is a pivotal technique for new generation aero‐engine lightweight structures, yet developing novel filler metal and achieving the extraordinary performance of titanium alloy brazed joints remains challenging. Here, this study designed an innovative filler metal (Ti70‐xZrxCu15Ni15) and developed inspired coupled ...

Eocene to Miocene U‐Pb Geochronology Evolution of the Rio Grande Rise, Southwestern Atlantic: A Paleoceanographic Approach

open access: yesPaleoceanography and Paleoclimatology, Volume 41, Issue 8, August 2026.
Abstract The Rio Grande Rise (RGR) is a major submarine feature in the South Atlantic that plays an important role in regional oceanographic dynamics. This study presents new U‐Pb geochronology of sedimentary rocks from the RGR, offering direct age constraints on carbonate and apatite embedded within Fe‐Mn crusts and associated foraminifera fossils ...

Investigating the Leptokurtotic Nature of Low‐Latitude GNSS Scintillations With a Multiscale Approach

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Space Physics, Volume 131, Issue 8, August 2026.
Abstract We investigate the statistical nature of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) signal fluctuations through the multiscale analysis of a strong scintillation event recorded at the Ionospheric Observatory of the Luigi Broglio Space Center in Malindi, Kenya.

An experimental examination of dispersal decisions made by flight‐capable heteropteran insects in urban stormwater pond conditions

open access: yesEcological Entomology, Volume 51, Issue 4, Page 672-689, August 2026.
Salty conditions in urban stormwater ponds can influence dispersal timing in species‐specific ways for actively dispersing aquatic heteropteran insects. Assaying multiple aspects of dispersal propensity, Hesperocorixa obliqua emigrated earlier in stormwater pond conditions while overall probabilities remained unchanged; Notonecta undulata emigration ...
