The Evolutionary Game of Poverty Traps [PDF]
We study an evolutionary game in which the individual behavior of the economic agents can lead the economy either into a low-level or a high-level equilibrium.

miR‐185‐5p derived from UC‐MSC exosomes via hypoxic suspension culture promotes scarless wound healing in mice by precisely regulating collagen I/III regeneration. Exosomes derived from UC‐MSCs under a three‐dimensional bioreactor and hypoxic conditions were injected into the skin wounds of mice.

This study generates high‐fidelity synthetic longitudinal records for a million‐patient diabetes cohort, successfully replicating clinical predictive performance. However, deeper analysis reveals algorithmic biases and trajectory inconsistencies that escape standard quality metrics. These findings challenge current validation norms, demonstrating why a

Evolution of Tax Evasion [PDF]
In this paper we analyze a tax evasion game with taxpayer learning by imitation. If the authority commits to a fixed auditing probability, a positive share of cheating is obtained in equilibrium.

The diagram depicts the endothelial‐protective mechanism of magnesium lithospermate B (MLB) in sepsis‐associated lung injury. MLB binds GPX4 at Gly79, disrupts its interaction with FUNDC1, prevents mitophagy‐mediated GPX4 degradation, restores mitophagic flux, reduces ROS, and limits ferroptosis.

This study reveals that abnormal mechanical stress downregulates the expression of HSP70 and impairs proteasome function in osteoarthritic bone cells, leading to misfolded collagen I accumulation and ER stress. When intracellular proteostasis capacity is exceeded, USP19 mediates the secretion of misfolded proteins into the extracellular space ...

The Open Method of Coordination (OMC) as an Evolutionary Learning Process [PDF]
We interpret the Open Method of Coordination (OMC), recently adopted by the EU as a mode of governance in the area of social policy and other fields, as an imitative learning dynamics of the type considered in evolutionary game theory.

Transforming Grain‐Boundary Brittle Precipitates to Ductility Pathways in Complex Concentrated Alloy
By engineering graded BCC/L12 interfaces, brittle precipitates in a complex concentrated alloy enable sequential deformation, realizing gigapascal strength with >20% elongation to solve the strength‐ductility trade‐off. ABSTRACT Conventional wisdom holds that hard grain‐boundary (GB) precipitates embrittle structural alloys by acting as crack ...

Bioenergy Cropping Reduces the Spatiotemporal Scaling of Soil Bacterial Biodiversity
Consistent with patterns observed in plant and animal communities, soil bacterial communities exhibit significant species–time–area and phylogenetic–time–area relationships independent of nested structure. Bioenergy cropping significantly reduces the spatiotemporal scaling rates, particularly in sandy loam soils.

Local and Global Interactions in an Evolutionary Resource Game [PDF]
Conditions for the emergence of cooperation in a spatial common-pool resource game are studied. This combines in a unique way local and global interactions. A fixed number of harvesters are located on a spatial grid.
