Immature Teratoma of the Larynx

Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, 1987

Giant immature teratoma

The Spine Journal, 2015
We managed a case of a spinal immature teratoma in a 3-year-old child. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed an expansive mass in the sacrococcygeal and lumbar regions (Figs. 1 and 2). The mass was hyperintense on T2-weighted (T2W) and hyperintense–hypointense on T1-weighted (T1W) images (Figs. 1 and 2).

Immature teratoma of the ovary

American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, 1983

Origin of immature teratoma of the ovary

American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, 1985
Six cases of immature teratoma of the ovary were karyotyped and analyzed for chromosomal heteromorphisms, enzyme polymorphisms, and HLA specificities to determine their mechanism of origin. Three cases were chromosomally abnormal, with karyotypes of 48,XX, +14, +21; 47,XX, +20; and 47,XXX, respectively.
