From immature pharmacotherapy towards pharmacotherapy of the immature
Seminars in Fetal and Neonatal Medicine, 2022To truly attain effective and safe pharmacotherapy, the similarities and dissimilarities in physiology between micro-preemies and extreme preterm infants should be explored. The higher incidence of pulmonary hypertension and presence of adrenal insufficiency of prematurity in micro-preemies hereby serve as illustrations.

The Spine Journal, 2015
We managed a case of a spinal immature teratoma in a 3-year-old child. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed an expansive mass in the sacrococcygeal and lumbar regions (Figs. 1 and 2). The mass was hyperintense on T2-weighted (T2W) and hyperintense–hypointense on T1-weighted (T1W) images (Figs. 1 and 2).

In the case to be described, enormous numbers of nucleated erythrocytes were present in the circulating blood and bone marrow initially and not only persisted unaffected by treatment but progressively increased in numbers. An associated proliferation of the immature cells characteristic of leukemia was absent. So far as could be ascertained, this blood
