Intelligent Micro/Nanorobots for Targeted Interventional Therapy: From Bench to Clinic
Zirui Zhang et al. reviewed the application and challenges of mobile nanomachines in interventional therapy. By converting exogenous energy, including chemical, magnetic, optical, and ultrasonic sources, into mechanical forces, micro/nanorobots (MNRs) enable precise actuation at unprecedented scales. Evolving far beyond traditional drug delivery, these

Solid Harmonic Wavelet Bispectrum for Image Analysis
The Solid Harmonic Wavelet Bispectrum (SHWB), a rotation‐ and translation‐invariant descriptor that captures higher‐order (phase) correlations in signals, is introduced. Combining wavelet scattering, bispectral analysis, and group theory, SHWB achieves interpretable, data‐efficient representations and demonstrates competitive performance across texture,

Computational simulations of tumor evolution are increasingly used to infer the rules underlying cancer growth, with the goal of one day recommending tailored treatments. Here we show that the properties of lung cancer sequencing data are best replicated by a model which assumes that cells compete both to proliferate and survive. ABSTRACT Computational

The Impact of COVID-19 on Breast Reconstruction: A Nationwide Analysis Utilizing NSQIP
Background The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) global pandemic prompted an unprecedented contraction in surgical volume. This utilizes the American College of Surgeons' National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (NSQIP) database to assess the ...

Immediate breast reconstruction for phyllodes tumors
Phyllodes tumors are rare breast tumors. Surgery is the mainstay of treatment and mastectomy has been the traditional procedure adopted for these tumors. Although wide excision with adequate margins gives equivalent results, mastectomy may still be required if the tumors are very large.

Immediate Breast Reconstruction Does Not Have a Clinically Significant Impact on Adjuvant Treatment Delay and Subsequent Survival Outcomes [PDF]
Purpose: The use of immediate breast reconstruction (IBR) has been debated because it may be a causative factor in adjuvant treatment delay and may subsequently increase the probability of recurrence.

Technical limitations often let dominant signals overshadow rare cell types and fine‐grained heterogeneity in spatial transcriptomics. SemanticST, a graph neural network using multi‐semantic graph fusion and a novel min‐cut loss, recovers these subtle patterns.
