Hyperviscous Diabetic Bone Marrow Niche Impairs BMSCs Osteogenesis via TRPV2‐Mediated Cytoskeletal‐Nuclear Mechanotransduction

Diabetic bone marrow exhibits pathological ECM hyperviscosity that activates TRPV2‐mediated Ca2⁺ influx, leading to perinuclear F‐actin disassembly, nuclear deformation, and chromatin condensation. This cytoskeletal‐nuclear decoupling suppresses osteogenic differentiation of BMSCs.

The majority of penicillin allergy labels are incorrect and a label of penicillin allergy is associated with worse outcomes and increased use of healthcare services. Penicillin allergy assessment and de‐labelling may be considered in critically ill patients. An oral penicillin challenge is a common component of most penicillin allergy protocols.

Immediate hypersensitivity reactions were induced in the periodontium and skin of monkeys sensitized with novo alcalase. Animals were challenged in the gingival papillae with 0.1, 1.0, and 10 μg of antigen for 1, 3, 5, or 7 consecutive days prior to sacrifice. At the same time, skin sites were challenged with 1 μg of antigen.
