Positive‐Tone Nanolithography of Antimony Trisulfide with Femtosecond Laser Wet‐Etching

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A butyldithiocarbamic acid (BDCA) etchant is used to fabricate various micro‐ and nanoscale structures on amorphous antimony trisulfide (a‐Sb2S3) thin film via femtosecond laser etching. Numerical analysis and experimental results elucidate the patterning mechanism on gold (reflective) and quartz (transmissive) substrates.

Boosting the Energy Density of “Anode‐Free” Lithium Metal Batteries via Electrospun Polymeric Scaffolds

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
While host structures are known to enhance the reversibility and safety of lithium metal deposition, their additional volume and weight often decrease the battery's energy density and specific energy. By combining a lightweight and porous scaffold of electrospun polymer with a thinner separator, this article demonstrates a simultaneous improvement of ...

Implementation of Drug‐Induced Rhabdomyolysis and Acute Kidney Injury in Microphysiological System

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A modular Muscle–Kidney proximal tubule‐on‐a‐chip integrates 3D skeletal muscle and renal proximal tubule tissues to model drug‐induced rhabdomyolysis and acute kidney injury. The coculture system enables dynamic tissue interaction, functional contraction monitoring, and quantification of nephrotoxicity, revealing drug side effect‐induced metabolic ...

Urban Immersion as Education

open access: yesInternational Journal of Game-Based Learning
While game-based learning is a growing field, city games remain an underresearched area. This study examined a custom-designed city game and the learning outcomes, motivation, and engagement of 49 visiting American university students in the city of Stockholm, Sweden. The game's design was grounded in game-based learning, self-determination theory, and
