The trends of socioeconomic inequities in full vaccination coverage among children aged 12–23 months from 2000 to 2017: evidence for mitigating disparities in vaccination service in Zhejiang province

open access: yesHuman Vaccines & Immunotherapeutics, 2021
Objective This study aimed to evaluate the trends and changes in inequities in the completeness of the primary vaccination (CPV) scheduled before the first year of age among children aged 12–23 months, from 2000 to 2017. Methods: Data were extracted from

Multiomics Analyses Reveal an Essential Role of Tryptophan in Treatment of csDMARDs in Rheumatoid Arthritis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Rheumatoid arthritis is a disease characterized by joint inflammation. Approximately 50% of patients show insufficient response to traditional synthetic disease‐modifying antirheumatic drugs. This study aims to elucidate differential molecular profiles of the mechanisms underlying drug responses through multi‐omics strategy.

Fragmenting networks by targeting collective influencers at a mesoscopic level [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
A practical approach to protecting networks against epidemic processes such as spreading of infectious diseases, malware, and harmful viral information is to remove some influential nodes beforehand to fragment the network into small components.

HERV‐K TM Subunit Elicits CD8+ T Cell Anergy and Tumor Immune Evasion via Targeting CD3 Coreceptor ε in AML and PDAC

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Novel viral immune checkpoint K‐TM subunit is aberrantly expressed in CD8+ T cells and enriched in sera of cancer patients, inducing CD8+ T cell anergy and eliciting potent tumor immune escape in mouse model. Mechanistically, K‐TM directly targets and induces the phosphorylation of CD3ε receptor.

Reactive immunization on complex networks

open access: yes, 2017
Epidemic spreading on complex networks depends on the topological structure as well as on the dynamical properties of the infection itself. Generally speaking, highly connected individuals play the role of hubs and are crucial to channel information ...

Maternal Immunization [PDF]

open access: yesClinical Infectious Diseases, 2014
Pregnant women, neonates, and infants are at higher risk for severe infections due to vaccine‐preventable diseases. Very young infants rarely respond well to vaccination due to poor immunogenicity and interference from maternal antibody. Maternal immunization protects the mother and fetus from disease and protects the infant through transplacental ...

CircPVT1 Promotes Lung Metastasis and Tumor Progression in Renal Cell Carcinoma by Encoding the cP104aa Peptide and Targeting EIF4A3

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals that circPVT1 promotes the renal cell carcinoma lung metastasis and tumor progression through encoding the cP104aa peptide and directly binds with EIF4A3, which jointly regulates the target gene c‐MYC. Abstract Circular RNA (circRNA) plays a pivotal role in the pathogenesis of renal cell carcinoma (RCC).
