A Rapid Immunoenzyme Double Labeling Technique Using EPOS Reagents

open access: closedJournal of Histotechnology, 1995
AbstractWe present a rapid method for a double immunoenzyme staining of formalin fixed, paraffin embedded tissue sections using antibodies labeled with a peroxidase enzyme polymer system (EPOS) recently introduced by Dako. This method is rapid, taking less than 3 hr, is virtually background free, and has a sensitivity comparable to the more cumbersome ...

Multiple immunoenzyme staining techniques use of fluoresceinated, biotinylated and unlabelled monoclonal antibodies

open access: closedJournal of Immunological Methods, 1989
Simultaneous detection of multiple tissue epitopes with an overlapping distribution pattern by monoclonal antibodies is sometimes needed for routine immunohistological evaluations. Therefore, multistep double and triple immunoenzymatic methods using antibodies from the same species or Ig (sub)class have been developed. Since only commercially available

Development and Comparative Study of Different Immunoenzyme Techniques for Pesticides Detection

open access: closedInternational Journal of Environmental Analytical Chemistry, 1996
Abstract Different ELISA techniques have been developed for the detemination of four widely used pesticides: 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D), 2,4,5-trichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4,5-T), simazine and atrazine. Dependences between the assay scheme and the limiting detectable concentration of the pesticide were studied.

Taenia solium: Host serum proteins on the cysticercus surface identified by an ultrastructural immunoenzyme technique

open access: closedExperimental Parasitology, 1977
Abstract Immunoglobulin and other serum proteins of the pig host were found in Taenia solium cysticercus antigen extracts by immunodiffusion and immuno-electrophoresis. By the immunoenzyme technique using peroxidase coupled to antibody, it was shown with electron microscopy that the microvilli on the surface of the bladder wall bind appreciable ...

Immunoenzyme Techniques: Enzymes as Markers for the Localization of Antigens and Antibodies

open access: closed, 1970
Publisher Summary This chapter discusses immunoenzyme techniques. The success in obtaining effective enzyme–antibody conjugates seems to depend mainly on the purity and affinity of antibody, on the enzyme preparations used, and on the cross-linking reagent employed. To couple an enzyme with a protein, a bi- or multifunctional reagent is needed.
