Missile Guidance Law Considering Constraints on Impact Angle and Terminal Angle of Attack

AIAA Guidance, Navigation, and Control Conference, 2015
This paper proposes a guidance law considering constraints on impact angle and terminal angle of attack for a homing missile. In the proposed structure, the guidance law generates angle of attack command and the controller tracks the generated command.

Segmented Optimal Guidance with Constraints on Terminal Angle of Attack and Impact Angle

50th AIAA Aerospace Sciences Meeting including the New Horizons Forum and Aerospace Exposition, 2012
Guidance law with constraint on both terminal ight path angle and terminal angle of attack was considered.Linearized missile airframe and rst order missile dynamics were taken into account to add the angle of attack as a state of the guidance equation.

Fast Convergent Nonsingular Terminal Sliding Mode Guidance Law with Impact Angle Constraint

Cybersecurity and Cyberforensics Conference, 2018
In this paper, a nonsingular, essentially continuous and finite time fast convergent guidance law with impact angle constraint for some missiles attacking the targets with zero miss-distance and terminal impact angle constraint is presented by using ...

Influence of initial heading angle for the optimal guidance law with impact angle constraint

2016 IEEE International Conference on Information and Automation (ICIA), 2016
Control of impact angle can considerably increase missile's lethality. However, large impact angle will lead to large lateral acceleration requirement during the flight. In order to avoid command saturation, one can choose initial heading angle to decrease the magnitude of the guidance command.

Fixed time integrated guidance and control with impact angle constraint

2020 IEEE 16th International Conference on Control & Automation (ICCA), 2020
This study proposes a fixed-time integrated guidance and control (IGC) scheme to hit maneuvering targets for missiles with impact angle constraint. By combining backstepping technique, an IGC law is designed to achieve the impact angle converge to the expected impact angle within fixed time.

Differential Game Missile Guidance with Impact Angle and Time Constraints

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2011
Abstract Modern anti-ship missiles are required for enhancement of the survivability against anti-air defense systems of warships. In this paper, the linear quadratic differential game missile guidance law to control impact angle and time is proposed, which enables to take advantages of vulnerability of warships.
