Lyapunov-Based Pursuit Guidance Law with Impact Angle Constraint

open access: yesIFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2014
Abstract This paper presents Lyapunov-based pursuit guidance law against stationary targets. To design a nonlinear guidance law, Lyapunov candidate function is introduced to reduce the angle between the velocity vector of a missile and the distance vector between the missile and the target.

A Variational Characterization of Fluid Sloshing with Surface Tension

open access: yes, 2017
We consider the sloshing problem for an incompressible, inviscid, irrotational fluid in an open container, including effects due to surface tension on the free surface. We restrict ourselves to a constant contact angle and seek time-harmonic solutions of

Adaptive Integral Sliding Mode Guidance Law with Impact Angle Constraint Considering Autopilot Lag

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2019
For the interception problem of maneuvering targets, considering impact angle constraint and first-order autopilot lag, an adaptive integral sliding mode guidance law is designed. A new nonsingular finite-time integral sliding mode surface is constructed,

Mechanical Properties of Architected Polymer Lattice Materials: A Comparative Study of Additive Manufacturing and CAD Using FEM and µ‐CT

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study examines how pore shape and manufacturing‐induced deviations affect the mechanical properties of 3D‐printed lattice materials with constant porosity. Combining µ‐CT analysis, FEM, and compression testing, the authors show that structural imperfections reduce stiffness and strength, while bulk material inhomogeneities probably enhance ...
