ABSTRACT In patients with atypical ulcers and travel history to endemic areas, a comprehensive diagnostic workup for cutaneous leishmaniasis is imperative. This case confirms Leishmania tropica through combined microscopy, culture, and PCR, leading to successful treatment with systemic glucantime and adjunctive wound care.

Air Jet Erosion Behavior of FDM‐Printed PLA Composites Reinforced With Steel Powder Fillers
3D‐printed PLA–steel composites processing, characterisation, and air jet erosion performance. ABSTRACT This paper reports the air jet erosion behavior of FDM‐printed polylactic acid (PLA) composites reinforced with 5 wt% and 10 wt% steel powder for solving the problem of the development of durable, sustainable, and high‐performance materials for ...

ABSTRACT Mount Erciyes, the largest active volcano of Central Anatolia (Turkey), erupted explosively during the Holocene, producing the Karagüllü, Perikartin and Dikkartin tuff rings. Even though major cities like Kayseri and its ~1 million residents sit directly on these pyroclastic deposits, the timing and magnitude of the explosive eruptions have ...

High‐Velocity Ballistic Impact Performance of FFF Printed PEEK With Different Infill Patterns
This study examines 3D printed PEEK under Izod, quasi‐static, and high‐velocity impact. Hexagonal infill shows the highest Izod impact strength and superior quasi‐static energy absorption. However, under ballistic impact, all patterns behave similarly, indicating performance depends on infill at low velocity, but on intrinsic material properties at ...

ABSTRACT In the present study, we have analyzed the growth profile of ruthenium (Ru) thin films, deposited using pulsed direct current (DC) magnetron sputtering technique, by varying the sputtering voltages in the range of 150–420 V. The grazing incidence X‐ray reflectivity (GIXRR), time‐of‐flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (ToF‐SIMS), and atomic ...
