Molecular doping of conjugated polymers is fundamentally constrained by thermodynamic phase behavior. This Perspective reframes doping efficiency and stability in terms of miscibility limits, binodals, and solvus boundaries, highlighting the role of effective interaction parameters and charge transfer.

Strong-Field Ionization Phenomena Revealed by Quantum Trajectories
We investigate the photoionization dynamics of atoms subjected to intense, ultrashort laser pulses through the use of quantum trajectories. This method provides a unique and consistent framework for examining electron dynamics within a time-dependent ...

Atoms in intense ultrashort laser pulses and the absolute phase [PDF]

Dexime: A Selectively Enzyme‐Degradable Hydrogel for Protein Therapeutic Release
A dextrin‐oxime hydrogel (dexime) is produced using ketone or aldehyde modified dextrin and tetra‐oxyamine modified poly(ethylene glycol). The rheological and mechanical properties of dexime are tunable. Dexime is injectable, cytocompatible, hydrolytically stable, and selectively degradable by α‐amylase.

Oscillations in GaN Diode with 2D-h-BN – Layer
In this research, we have investigated the operation of a hybrid 2D-3D heterostructure diode in the Gunn-like oscillation mode. The diode is represented as a GaN-based structure containing n-type channel on a sapphire substrate with the hexagonal boron ...

Impact ionization in silicon: A microscopic view
A microscopic, single-particle view of impact ionization in silicon is obtained from a modified full-band Monte Carlo simulation. For each ionization event, the balance between the energies supplied by the electric field and lost to the lattice is ...

The perspective presents an integrated view of neuromorphic technologies, from device physics to real‐time applicability, while highlighting the necessity of full‐stack co‐optimization. By outlining practical hardware‐level strategies to exploit device behavior and mitigate non‐idealities, it shows pathways for building efficient, scalable, and ...

The energetic offset between the donor and the acceptor components in organic photoactive layers is central to the tradeoff between photovoltage and photocurrent losses. This Perspective covers the most important issues surrounding this topic in non‐fullerene acceptor blends, from the difficulty of accurately determining state energies and driving ...

Anion‐exchange doping of conjugated polymers is an effective way to achieve high conductivities. Here, we report over 2000 S cm−1 electrical conductivity for doped P(g3BTTT). In addition, we show that P(g3BTTT) sustains exceptionally high doping levels without any drop in the charge mobility.
