Electrochemical technology enables nutrient recovery and ammonia toxicity control in anaerobic digestion [PDF]
The aim of this study was to investigate the impact of an electrochemical system (ES) on the performance of an anaerobic digester during both low and high ammonium (NH4+) loading rates.

Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

Machine Learning‐Based Failure Prediction in Concrete Slabs and Cubes Under Impact Loading
Experts have been interested in the behavior of concrete under impact loading because of its wide range of applications in construction projects. Due to their quasi‐brittle nature, failure modes related to concrete may occur without any prior warning ...

Stress decay in an orthotropic half-plane under self-equilibrating sinusoidal loading [PDF]
An elastic orthotropic half-plane subjected to sinusoidal normal loading along an entire straight edge is analyzed. Stresses are calculated for material property combinations which are representative of some unidirectional fiber reinforced composites and

SERS Detection of Graphene Oxide in Acid Catalyzed Sol-Gels [PDF]
Silica sol-gel and aerogel substrates were synthesized using a modified acid catalyzed hydrolysis of tetramethyl orthosilicate method that incorporated graphene oxide and silver nanoparticles into the matrix.

Methods to improve antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) treatment durability in cancer therapy are needed. We utilized ADCs and immune‐stimulating antibody conjugates (ISACs), which are made from two non‐competitive antibodies, to enhance the entry of toxic payloads into cancer cells and deliver immunostimulatory agents into immune cells.

Modeling and Simulation of the Effects of Cyclic Loading on Articular Cartilage Lesion Formation
We present a model of articular cartilage lesion formation to simulate the effects of cyclic loading. This model extends and modifies the reaction-diffusion-delay model by Graham et al.

Tumor mutational burden as a determinant of metastatic dissemination patterns
This study performed a comprehensive analysis of genomic data to elucidate whether metastasis in certain organs share genetic characteristics regardless of cancer type. No robust mutational patterns were identified across different metastatic locations and cancer types.

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.
