Impact time control guidance law with large impact angle constraint
Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part G: Journal of Aerospace Engineering, 2015The problem of impact time control with large impact angle constraint is addressed. The dynamics of impact time error under the biased proportional navigation based impact angle control guidance law is first derived for the case of large impact angle constraint.

Optimal control based guidance law to control both impact time and impact angle
Aerospace Science and Technology, 2019Abstract A new guidance law with both impact time and impact angle constraints is proposed in this paper. We first simplify missile dynamics under small heading error approximation, and derive an optimal guidance law with impact angle constraint against a stationary target.

Impact analysis in real-time control systems
Proceedings IEEE International Conference on Software Maintenance - 1999 (ICSM'99). 'Software Maintenance for Business Change' (Cat. No.99CB36360), 1999Real time control systems typically receive streams of sampled data signals, process them, and generate output to control devices via actuators. Control system components make assumptions about sampling rate and other characteristics, such as filtering of data streams.

Impact Time and Angle Guidance With Sliding Mode Control
IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology, 2009A novel sliding mode-based impact time and angle guidance law for engaging a modern warfare ship is presented in this paper. In order to satisfy the impact time and angle constraints, a line-of-sight rate shaping process is introduced. This shaping process results in a tuning parameter that can be used to create a line-of-sight rate profile to satisfy ...

The Impact of Airway Technique on Anesthesia Control Time
Journal of Medical Systems, 2019Few studies have examined the impact of video laryngoscopy (VL) on operating room efficiency. We hypothesized that VL reduces anesthesia control time (ACT), a metric of anesthesia efficiency, compared with fiberoptic intubation (FOI) in potentially difficult airways, but that direct laryngoscopy (DL) remains more efficient in routine cases.

Sliding Mode Guidance Law for Impact Time Control Without Explicit Time-to-Go Estimation
IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, 2019This paper presents an impact time control guidance law that does not perform explicit time-to-go estimation. In order to satisfy the interception and the desired impact time constraint simultaneously, a sliding surface variable formulated as a sum of ...

Impact Angle Control Guidance Laws Using Finite-Time-Convergence Control Methods
2021 29th Mediterranean Conference on Control and Automation (MED), 2021This study deals with the design of the impact angle control guidance (IACG) laws using the finite-time convergence control (FTCL) methods. To design IACG laws, the guidance command is divided into two parts. The first part is the command to intercept the target by nullifying the miss distance. The second part is the command to satisfy the impact angle

Bang-bang impact control using hybrid impedance/time-delay control
IEEE/ASME Transactions on Mechatronics, 2003For stabilization of a robot manipulator upon collision with a stiff environment, a nonlinear bang-bang impact controller is developed. Under this control, a robot can successfully achieve contact tasks without changing the control algorithm or controller gains throughout all three modes: free space, transition and constrained motion.
