SEG Technical Program Expanded Abstracts 2011, 2011Theoretical evaluation of elastic impedance (EI) and ray impedance (RI) reveals that RI has a more reliable dimension and is less sensitive to errors than EI. Estimation of load impedance in a power system
Ninth International Conference on Harmonics and Quality of Power. Proceedings (Cat. No.00EX441), 2002This paper describes a novel technique for measuring power system impedance back to source. The technique employs a power electronic converter which injects a voltage transient onto the network via an inductor. The resulting current is correlated with the disturbance voltage to determine the impedance.
