Strong Lead‐Free Bioinspired Piezoceramics for Durable Energy Transducers
We fabricated brick‐and‐mortar lead‐free piezoceramics with Bi0.5Na0.5TiO3 monocrystal platelets as bricks and amorphous silica as mortar. The alignment of the bricks and the presence of the amorphous silica led to anisotropic residual stresses. These residual stresses increase the samples toughness, strength and durability while the brick alignment ...

Impedance spectroscopy of colloids
Journal of Electroanalytical Chemistry, 1994Abstract We present a four-electrode dielectric spectrometer, particularly developed for measuring relaxation characteristics in the impedance of colloidal dispersions. The instrument is optimized for covering the frequency range from approximately 500 Hz to 500 kHz. The set-up consists of a cell connected to a signal-processing unit and a commercial
