Analysis of watermarking techniques with wavelet and cosine transform for imperceptibility on image
Some medical image watermarking techniques utilize frequency transform domains to improve the performance of the watermarking technique, where the main requirement of the medical image is to maintain the visual quality.

Dissecting the Imperceptible [PDF]
Encouraged by his museum experience as curator at the Mamco in Geneva, Thierry Davila offers us the recent history of the flipside of art, the one played out on the borderlines of the perceptible, where extreme tenuousness is presented as the actual motif of creation. His book, which is an offshoot of his doctoral thesis, supervised by Eric Michaud and

Image Vividness Changes due to White‐Boosting on WOLED Display
White‐Boosting is a display technique for RGBW WOLED panels that increases peak brightness. This study investigated its effect on perceived image vividness using paired‐comparison experiments. Across three psychophysical experiments, higher White‐Boosting consistently enhanced perceived vividness.

A Hybrid Region-Based Approach for Image Steganography
Steganography is the process of embedding a hidden message in a cover that is undetectable to unknown receivers. Since digital images have a high degree of redundancy that can be utilized for concealing a message, image steganography has been one of the ...

Hughlings Jackson's "imperception" and anosognosia [PDF]
One of the earliest to attempts to localise specific functions to anatomical regions of the brain was that of Franz Joseph Gall,1 who distinguished six varieties of memory, which he localised in the frontal lobes. Auburtin in 1864 related the faculty of language to the frontal lobes, and Broca2 and Dax highlighted the left side of the brain.3 The right

Abstract Purpose Efficient and reliable magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)‐based diagnosis of early avascular necrosis of the femoral head (AVNFH) is essential for guiding treatment but remains challenging due to variability in clinician experience. Deep learning (DL) models offer a promising solution. This review evaluates and summarizes the performance

Reachable Workspace as a Clinical Outcome for Upper Extremity Function: A Narrative Review
ABSTRACT Motion sensing technology can be utilized to capture detailed upper extremity (UE) motion to reconstruct an individual's three‐dimensional (3D) reachable workspace (RWS). The RWS can be quantified as relative surface area (RSA), providing an innovative surrogate measure to assess UE mobility and function.
