ABSTRACT This study aimed to investigate associations of plasma and synovial fluid vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF‐A) and neuropilin‐1 (NRP1) levels with radiographic severity, pain sensitization‐related features, and disease burden in knee osteoarthritis (KOA). Plasma VEGF‐A and NRP1 were measured by sandwich ELISA in 120 patients with KOA (

Joint User Scheduling and Precoding for XL-MIMO Systems with Imperfect CSI
We propose an algorithm for joint precoding and user selection in multiple-input multiple-output systems with extremely-large aperture arrays, assuming realistic channel conditions and imperfect channel estimates.

Laryngeal Cryotherapy for Neurogenic Cough: Safety, Feasibility, and Prospective Outcomes
A prospective clinical trial investigated the safety and clinical outcomes of office‐based selective laryngeal cryotherapy for patients with refractory chronic cough. Patient were followed for 6 months posttreatment and had durable improvement in cough severity index and urge‐to‐cough scores and no serious long term adverse effects.

Imperfect CSI-Based Joint Resource Allocation in Multirelay OFDMA Networks
Radio resource allocation is very important in relay orthogonal frequency-division multiple-access (OFDMA) networks. Since perfect channel state information (CSI) is hardly obtained, the robust design that takes into account the CSI imperfection plays a ...

A zero‐dimensional perovskite‐inspired scintillator (Cs3Cu2I5) is developed as a high‐radiation‐resilient radionuclide analyzer capable of operating under extreme γ‐ray environments. Even after 200 kGy irradiation, the device fully restores its original spectroscopic performance through simple thermal annealing, demonstrating intrinsic defect ...

Spatial interference cancelation for mobile Ad hoc networks: Imperfect CSI
Spatial interference cancelation based on zeroforcing beamforming significantly improves the throughput of a mobile ad hoc network. Nevertheless, the performance of spatial interference cancelation can be degraded by imperfect channel estimation at ...

Breathe, Eat, Talk: Three Essential Ingredients to Quality‐of‐Life Outcomes in Movement Disorders
Abstract Background Breathing, eating, and talking (BET) impairments are common yet frequently underrecognized features of movement disorders. Deficits in respiration, swallowing, voice, and speech may emerge early in the course of a disease, adversely affecting safety, participation, and quality of life.
