Imperfect Information and Training Quality [PDF]
This paper develops a theoretical model in which the level of training provided by a firm is not observed by workers. It is therefore not possible to have training wages completely contingent upon the level of training provided. Training wages will be too high.

Quality control is an important consideration in food production systems which often start with farming and processing operations and finish with consumption. This study develops an integrated inventory control model for a four-echelon supply chain (with

An EOQ model with stock dependent demand and imperfect quality items [PDF]
This paper deals with an economic order quantity model where demand is stock dependent. Items received are not of perfect quality and each lot received contains percentage defective imperfect quality items, which follow a probability ...

Impact of Imperfect Quality Items on Inventory Management for Two Warehouses with Shortages [PDF]
Generally, the majority of the inventory models work on the concept that overall units produced must be perfect in terms of quality and that the storage capacity of the warehouse is unlimited.

Competition vs. quality in an industry with imperfect traceability [PDF]
We consider an industry where firms produce goods that have different quality levels but firms cannot differentiate themselves from rivals. In this situation, producing low-quality generates a negative externality on the whole industry. This is particularly true when consumers cannot identify producers.

The DoF region of two‐user MIMO broadcast channel with delayed imperfect‐quality CSIT
The channel state information at the transmitter (CSIT) play an important role in the performance of wireless networks. The CSIT model can be delayed and imperfect‐quality, since the feedback link has a delay and the channel state information (CSI ...

Low Carbon Supply Chain Coordination for Imperfect Quality Deteriorating Items
Nowadays, many countries have implemented carbon pricing policies. Hence, the industry adapts to this policy while striving for its main goal of maximizing financial benefits.

Quality Uncertainty with Imperfect Information Acquisition [PDF]
We analyze a monopolistic model of quality uncertainty but with the possibility of information acquisition on the consumer side. Infor- mation is costly and its amount is chosen by the consumer. The analysis of Bayesian equilibria shows the possibility of three equilibrium classes, only one of which leaves positive utility to the consumer.
