A synergistic molecular strategy is demonstrated to disrupt intrinsic ππ stacking in pitch, boosting 6‐fold sulfonation, yielding a hard carbon with 0.371 nm interlayer spacing and maximized closed pores, and achieving a high reversible capacity, remarkable rate capability (205.6 mAh g−1 at 2 A g−1) and cyclic stability.

Passing vehicles generate short‐duration wakes that can be redirected toward a vertical‐axis turbine. The interaction between wake structure, blade count, and rotational speed governs transient torque production. Three flat‐plate collectors with spiral and square coiled riser tubes were tested and it was found that the spiral type provides the best results with a thermal efficiency of 66.98% for a mass flow rate of 0.4 kg/min. Riser tube geometry is a key factor in optimizing flat‐plate collector output.
