Meta‐Rod Mechanical Metamaterials With Programmable Reconfiguration
Existing mechanical metamaterials achieve programmable large deformations in planar square or cubic configurations, restricted by required complex boundary conditions. This research proposes a 1D metamaterial, Meta‐rod, with linear, bending, twisting, area, and volume deformation modes.

The Color Red Is Implicitly Associated With Social Status in the United Kingdom and China
Research and theorizing on human societies have shown that the color red plays a large role in human psychological functioning. The aim of the present study was to test the association between red and high-status symbols across cultural contexts.

Electrochemical CO2 reduction (ECR) to formate is a promising route for sustainable chemical production. Herein, we report the synthesis catalysed byBi‐HfO2@C. The AIMD simulations, DFT calculations, and in situ SEIRAS measurements show that the modification of HfO2 on the Bi surface steers the interfacial water to adopt a favorable hydrogen‐down (OH2↓)

Solvent Co‐Intercalation Enabled Ca Storage in MoS2 for Ca‐Ion Batteries
Regulating electrolyte solvation levels enables otherwise non‐intercalatable Ca2+ ions to reversibly co‐intercalate into molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) as ether‐solvated species. The intercalation reversibility is strongly governed by solvent chain length, as demonstrated using diethylene glycol dimethyl ether (G2) and tetraethylene glycol dimethyl ether (

Cerebral organoids are transforming brain research, yet the field remains fragmented. This comprehensive systematic review maps 738 studies published between 2014 and 2024 to uncover trends, gaps, and opportunities across neuroscience. Introducing OrganoidMap—an interactive, open‐access platform to explore and compare models—this work enables ...

Implicit deservingness: Implicit association test for belief in a just world
The present research aimed to develop and produce evidence of the validity of an Implicit Association Test (IAT) for BJW. Two studies were developed to achieve this objective. Study 1 tested the convergent validity of a preliminary version of an IAT with an explicit measure (Global Belief in Just World Scale).

Metal‐free carbon catalysts enable the sustainable synthesis of hydrogen peroxide via two‐electron oxygen reduction; however, active site complexity continues to hinder reliable interpretation. This review critiques correlation‐based approaches and highlights the importance of orthogonal experimental designs, standardized catalyst passports ...
