Inverse Design of Amorphous Materials With Targeted Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
AMDEN is a diffusion model framework for the inverse design of amorphous materials with targeted properties. By incorporating Hamiltonian Monte Carlo refinement into the denoising process, the framework overcomes the challenge of generating thermally relaxed disordered structures.

One dimensional parabolic free boundary problems

open access: yes, 1975
The method of lines is used to approximate explicit and implicit free boundary problems for a linear one dimensional diffusion equation with a sequence of free boundary problems for ordinary differential equations.

Thermodynamic Limits to Molecular Doping in Conjugated Polymers: A Perspective on Phase Behavior and Miscibility

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Molecular doping of conjugated polymers is fundamentally constrained by thermodynamic phase behavior. This Perspective reframes doping efficiency and stability in terms of miscibility limits, binodals, and solvus boundaries, highlighting the role of effective interaction parameters and charge transfer.

Implicit Solitary Wave Solutions of the Generalized Magma Equation

open access: yes, 1991
The generalized magma equation, in which dispersion and nonlinearity are coupled together in a manner reminiscent of the Harry-Dym equation, is solved to indicate both periodic and aperiodic implicit solitary wave solutions.

Implicit finite difference solution of 1D nonlinear porous medium equation via four-point EGSOR with newton iteration [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Porous medium equation (PME) has a great practical in fluid flow, heat transfer and population dynamics. The nonlinearity in this equation makes it interesting in the development of nonlinear analytical and numerical tools in pure and applied mathematics

Stability analysis of an implicit and explicit numerical method for Volterra integro-differential equations with kernel K(x,y(t),t)

open access: yesLietuvos Matematikos Rinkinys
We present implicit and explicit versions of a numerical algorithm for solving a Volterra integro-differential equation. These algorithms are an extension of our previous work, and cater for a kernel of general form.

A Super‐Adhesive Air Filter With Capillarity‐Mediated Spontaneous Particle Absorption via Dynamic Bond Exchange

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We address the inherently weak particle adhesion of conventional air filters by coating a dynamically crosslinked adhesive layer that delivers capillarity‐driven strong adhesion and particle absorption mediated by dynamic bond exchange. The resulting enhancement in particle adhesion enables efficient ultrafast (up to 20 m s−1) and omnidirectional ...

Implicit Motives and Men’s Perceived Constraint in Fatherhood

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychology, 2016
Research shows that implicit motives influence social relationships. However, little is known about their role in fatherhood and, particularly, how men experience their paternal role. Therefore, this study examined the association of implicit motives and
