Current Compliance‐Driven Morphological Evolution of Conductive Filaments in ECM Cells: Mechanisms, Switching Regimes, and Thermal Effects

 Electrochemical metallization (ECM) cells enable neuromorphic and in‐memory computing but require precise control of conductive filament growth. We present a 2D continuum model that explains side growth by coupling electrochemical reactions, ion transport, tunnel currents, mechanical stress, and heating.

Nanomodification of Polyethylene via Focused Electron Beam Irradiation: Controlled Crazing and Application to Crack Arresting

Focused electron beam (FEB) irradiation precisely modifies polyethylene (PE) at the nanoscale, resulting in controlled crazing characterized by microvoids and microfibrils. Additionally, the technique can be applied for crack arrest under tensile stress.
