Negative performance evaluation in the imposter phenomenon
The imposter phenomenon (IP) is associated with a bias towards negative evaluation of one’s own performances. This study employs an online problem-solving task to investigate this bias. Participants (graduate students from the UK, US, and Europe; n = 163) solved reasoning problems and subsequently evaluated their performance.

TisIBP8, a fungal‐derived hyperactive ice‐binding protein, helps Caenorhabditis elegans survive dehydration. It localizes near cell membranes, reduces cell damage, and helps maintain membrane structure during drying. These results suggest that ice‐binding proteins can protect cells from dehydration stress as well as freezing stress.
