Low Resolution Spectral Templates For AGNs and Galaxies From 0.03 -- 30 microns

open access: yes, 2010
We present a set of low resolution empirical SED templates for AGNs and galaxies in the wavelength range from 0.03 to 30 microns based on the multi-wavelength photometric observations of the NOAO Deep-Wide Field Survey Bootes field and the spectroscopic ...

3SD: Rotational symmetry single‐shot denoising in fluorescence microscopy

open access: yesJournal of Microscopy, EarlyView.
Abstract Image noise is a fundamental problem in fluorescence microscopy analysis, especially in live cell imaging applications where the number of detected photons is limited due to low power of excitation lasers to prevent phototoxicity during extended imaging experiments.

Pre‐anaesthetic risk assessment and management of dogs with myxomatous mitral valve disease: a spectrum of care narrative review

open access: yesJournal of Small Animal Practice, EarlyView.
Myxomatous mitral valve disease, an acquired valvular degeneration, is the most common cardiac disorder in dogs, affecting approximately 10% of dogs in primary care veterinary practice. Dogs with myxomatous mitral valve disease frequently require anaesthesia for routine procedures.

A geophysical investigation of the Roter Kamm impact crater, Namibia

open access: yesMeteoritics &Planetary Science, EarlyView.
Abstract The Roter Kamm impact crater is located in the southern Namib Desert. The crater has a diameter of 2.5 km and belongs to the category of simple, bowl‐shaped impact craters, with an elevated rim of fractured target rock. The crater's interior is completely buried beneath sediments, preventing extensive surface investigations of the bedrock ...

Flexible Job-shop Scheduling Optimization based on Improved Gray Wolf Algorithm

open access: yesFrontiers in Computing and Intelligent Systems
This article proposed an improved gray wolf optimizer to deal with the flexible job-shop scheduling problem. By using a random key for coding job positions and adopting a local search strategy, we achieve group reconstruction and updating with the help of three good fitness values of the population, hence continuously searching for the optimal solution.

Financial Time Series Uncertainty: A Review of Probabilistic AI Applications

open access: yesJournal of Economic Surveys, Volume 40, Issue 2, Page 915-953, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Probabilistic machine learning models offer a distinct advantage over traditional deterministic approaches by quantifying both epistemic uncertainty (stemming from limited data or model knowledge) and aleatoric uncertainty (due to inherent randomness in the data), along with full distributional forecasts.
