High-accuracy calculation of nonrelativistic Compton profile for H-like ions
In collision processes such as Compton scattering, radiative electron capture (REC) and resonant transfer and excitation (RTE) and so on, the shape of their cross sections in the impulse approximation can be determined by the so-called Compton profile ...

Neutron electromagnetic form factors and inclusive scattering of polarized electrons by polarized $^{3}$He and $^{3}$H targets [PDF]
The electromagnetic inclusive responses of polarized $^{3}$He and $^{3}$H are thoroughly investigated at the quasielastic peak for squared momentum transfers up to $2 (GeV/c)^2$, within the plane wave impulse approximation.

Integrating Spatial Proteogenomics in Cancer Research
Xx xx. ABSTRACT Background: Spatial proteogenomics marks a paradigm shift in oncology by integrating molecular analysis with spatial information from both spatial proteomics and other data modalities (e.g., spatial transcriptomics), thereby unveiling tumor heterogeneity and dynamic changes in the microenvironment.

Impulse in a Double Ball Bounce
A steel ball was dropped onto a handball which was resting on top of a horizontal Vernier force-plate. The relationship between the impact momentum of the steel ball and the impulse on the force-plate was investigated. The measured impulse

Control of solar sail periodic orbits in the elliptic three-body problem [PDF]
A solar sail essentially consists of a large mirror that uses the momentum change due to photons reflecting off the sail for its impulse. Solar sails are therefore unique spacecraft, as they do not require fuel for propulsion [1].

The 3K‐AP system forms infinite supramolecular fibrils that undergo controlled degradation into shorter fragments upon enzymatic hydrolysis. Multitechnique imaging reveals a stepwise bacteriolytic mechanism involving bacterial entrapment, disassembly into lethal constructs, and associated extracellular vesicle release, highlighting the dynamic ...

Measurement of the Induced Proton Polarization P_n in the 12C(e,e'\vec{p}) Reaction
The first measurements of the induced proton polarization, P_n, for the 12C (e,e'\vec{p}) reaction are reported. The experiment was performed at quasifree kinematics for energy and momentum transfer (\omega,q) \approx (294 MeV, 756 MeV/c) and sampled a ...

Surface Plasmon Enhanced Photoluminescence of Carbon Dots Formed In Situ on Silver Gratings
Carbon emitters formed in situ on a silver grating via plasmonic catalysis yield enhanced spontaneous emission by preferential radiative decay into surface plasmons. Enhancement manifests as emission exhibiting characteristics of coherence (polarization, directionality), and accelerated lifetimes of ∼30 ps, yielding Purcell factors of ∼70.
