ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Outcomes for pediatric relapsed/refractory (R/R) acute myeloid leukemia (AML) remain dismal. CPX‐351, a liposomal formulation of cytarabine and daunorubicin, may have less off‐target toxicities than traditional chemotherapies and has shown improved outcomes for adults with newly diagnosed therapy‐related AML.

Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Effectiveness of Large Soil Grain Sizes in Studying Impulse Characteristics of Soil
There have been many published studies analysing the impulse characteristics of soil and various soil properties. Some of these published results are found to be largely different and inconsistent from one study to another. Soil properties may be complex

Neutrino-nucleus quasi-elastic scattering and strange quark effects
A relativistic distorted-wave impulse-approximation model is applied to quasi-elastic neutrino-nucleus scattering. The bound state is obtained in the framework of the relativistic mean field theory and the final state interaction is taken into account in

Spin Observables in Coincidence Electron Scattering from Nuclei I: Reduced Response Functions [PDF]
A theoretical description of nucleon knockout reactions initiated by polarized electron scattering from polarized nuclei is presented. Explicit expressions for the complete set of reduced response functions (independent of the polarization angle) that ...

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

On registration of spontaneous electromagnetic emission of lithosphere within lengthy salt adit
Results of measurements of impulse current of electromagnetic emission within frequency range 2,5-50kHz (by 3 dB level) in rectilinear horizontal part of natural salt 700 m long adit situated at the depth of 260m and without any technical sources of ...

Effect of Impulse Polarity on a New Grounding Device with Spike Rods (GDSR)
The characterizations of grounding systems subjected to high impulse conditions are known to be dependent on the polarity, current to peak time and discharge time, as well as the electrical properties of the soil, and the grounding electrodes themselves.

A Consistent Meson-Field-Theoretical Description of PP-Bremsstrahlung [PDF]
A parameter-free and relativistic extension of the RuhrPot meson-baryon model is used to define the dominant isoscalar meson-exchange currents. We compute pp-bremsstrahlung observables below the $\pi-$production threshold using a relativistic hadronic ...
