This paper describes the theoretical analysis of lightning impulse voltage waveform with an overshoot or oscillation caused by the residual inductance of the impulse generator. The oscillating lightning impulse waveform is expressed by the following formula;vout (t) = A {e-α1t - e-α2t sin(ωt+θ)/sinθ}where A, α1, α2, ω, θ are constants, respectively ...

Tumour‐proximal deep serum proteomics identifies biomarkers associated with ovarian cancer
New biomarkers are needed for early ovarian cancer detection. Ovarian (tumour‐proximal) and peripheral vein serum from healthy women and patients with benign or malignant tumours underwent nanoparticle‐enriched deep proteomics. Ovarian serum yielded more protein identifications and revealed tumour‐reflective signatures.

Malformin A1–mediated cytotoxicity in ovarian cancer cells occurs through pyroptosis and autophagy
This study investigated the effects of the natural compound Malformin A1 (MA1) on the cytoskeleton that regulates cell proliferation and migration. Disruption of the cytoskeleton can impair these processes and promote cancer cell death. MA1 disrupted cytoskeletal organization, induced DNA damage, inflammation, activated autophagy, and pyroptosis ...

GENERATION AND SPATIAL PROPAGATION OF LANDSLIDE GENERATED IMPULSE WAVES [PDF]
Large subaerial mass wasting into water may generate large waves along coast lines and in bays. Hazard assessment of such an events is based on the decay rate of these impulse waves along their propagation path to populated areas and infrastructure along the shoreline.

Modelling and simulation of impulse voltage generator using marx circuit [PDF]
Protection of power system is an important aspect for the continued service of the electrical power system. Mostly the protection of electrical power depends on the performance of insulation systems under transient over voltage conditions arises due to ...

The neurokinin 1 receptor exists as full‐length (NK1L) and C‐terminally truncated (NK1S) splice variants. We show that NK1S heterodimerizes with NK1L, impairing Gαq coupling and Ca2+ mobilization while enhancing β‐arrestin1 recruitment. NK1S suppresses substance P‐driven gene expression and cell migration, revealing NK1S as an endogenous biased ...

Impulsive control of a nuclear spin generator
Impulsive control of a nuclear spin generator is considered. Let be \[ X^T= (X_1,X_2,X_3),\qquad A= \begin{pmatrix} -\beta & 1 & 0\\ -1 &\beta(\gamma- 1) & 0\\ 0 & 0 & -\alpha\beta\end{pmatrix}, \] \[ \Phi(X)= \beta\gamma\begin{pmatrix} 0\\ -X_2 X_3\\ X^2_2\end{pmatrix},\qquad \alpha\in (0,1],\quad \beta,\gamma\in \mathbb{R}_+. \] The impulsive control

Periodic Solutions Generated by Impulses for State-Dependent Impulsive Differential Equation [PDF]
We study the existence of periodic solutions for a class of state-dependent impulsive differential systems via geometrical analysis methods. Our results show that these periodic solutions are generated by impulses. Moreover, numerical simulations are used to examine the existence of the periodic solutions.
