A new continuous dependence result for impulsive retarded functional differential equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
summary:We consider a large class of impulsive retarded functional differential equations (IRFDEs) and prove a result concerning uniqueness of solutions of impulsive FDEs.

Influence Mechanism of Structural Parameters of a Novel Sleeve‐Shaft Counterrotating Hydrodynamic Cavitation Reactor on Cavitation Characteristics and Performance

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study systematically investigates the cavitation characteristics of a novel sleeve‐shaft counterrotating (SSCR) hydrodynamic cavitation reactor using computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Based on the RANS framework combined with the SST k–ω turbulence model and the Zwart–Gerber–Belamri cavitation model, the temporal–spatial evolution of ...

MHD Maxwell Hybrid Nanofluid Transport Featuring Solar Radiation and Thermo‐Diffusive Impacts Over a Permeable Slanted Stretching Sheet

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Hybrid nanofluids have emerged as next‐generation working fluids for advanced engineering application due to their superior heat transport capability in relation to the conventional nanofluids. Motivated by the rising demand for accurate prediction of transport phenomena under realistic operating situations, the present study examines the ...

Exponential Stability of Impulsive Delay Differential Equations

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
The main objective of this paper is to further investigate the exponential stability of a class of impulsive delay differential equations. Several new criteria for the exponential stability are analytically established based on Razumikhin techniques ...

Asymptotic solutions of differential equations with singular impulses

open access: yesCarpathian Journal of Mathematics
The paper considers impulsive systems with singularities. The main novelty is that beside the singularity of the differential equation, the impulsive equation is a singular one. The method of boundary functions is applied to obtain the main result. Examples with simulations confirming the theoretical results are given.

Controllability and Observability Conditions for Impulsive DAEs on Time Scales

open access: yesAsian Journal of Control, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper establishes criteria for controllability and observability in a class of linear time‐invariant impulsive differential‐algebraic equations (DAEs) defined on a time scale. Controllability is defined as the ability to transfer the system state from any initial condition to any desired state within a finite time interval using an ...

Strict stability of impulsive functional differential equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Strict stability is the kind of stability that can give us some information about the rate of decay of the solutions. There are some results about strict stability of differential equations.

Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare Among Youth With Autism and ADHD: A Population‐Based Study From Sweden

open access: yesAutism Research, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Youth with autism spectrum disorder or attention‐deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) may face barriers to sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services. Yet, data on preventive SRH service use remain limited, especially digital care. This population‐based registry study investigated whether patterns of SRH service use differed by digital ...

Single‐subject designs in character education: Methods for rigorous, contextual, and practitioner‐led research

open access: yesBritish Educational Research Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract Character education research is often constrained by blunt methodological tools. Surveys capture breadth without depth; case studies offer richness but lack replicability; and randomised controlled trials (RCTs), though indispensable at the policy level, are costly, disruptive and ill‐suited to everyday practice with individual pupils.
