Earthquake and Tsunami NaTech Risk Assessment for Oil Storage Facilities
ABSTRACT Interaction of natural and technological hazards (NaTech) events, such as tsunamis and earthquakes, can affect industrial facilities such as those featuring anchored atmospheric storage tanks. Consequences of natural events on this kind of installation may include the release of hazardous substances, which in turn can lead to industrial ...

Fast Calculation for the Flow and Heat Transfer of Tempered Fractional Maxwell Viscoelastic Fluid
This study develops a tempered fractional Maxwell model to simulate unsteady thermal flow in viscoelastic fluids, capturing key rheological behaviors. A fast SOE‐based algorithm is proposed to improve the computational efficiency of the numerical scheme. Results reveal how key parameters influence fluid motion and heat transfer, demonstrating the model'

A study of impulsive fractional differential inclusions with anti-periodic boundary conditions [PDF]
Summary: In this paper, we prove the existence of solutions for impulsive fractional differential inclusions with anti-periodic boundary conditions by applying Bohnenblust-Karlin's fixed point theorem.

Advanced Functional Materials for Marine Energy Utilization
Marine renewable energy is an important future clean energy supply. We construct and sort out the material system for marine energy capture and conversion, transmission, storage, and utilization for the first time. ABSTRACT Several features of marine energy, including large reserves, sustainable utilization, environmental friendliness, make it a ...

Soft Power in Trade: Quantifying the Impact of Confucius Institutes on China's Exports
ABSTRACT This paper investigates the role of Confucius Institutes (CIs) as a form of China's cultural diplomacy and their impact on international trade, particularly exports. Using a gravity model, we analyze data from 1990 to 2019 across countries, finding that the presence of CIs significantly boosts China's exports.

Abstract Background Few studies have used nationwide registry data from both primary and secondary healthcare services to examine the incidence of attention‐deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children while accounting for early risk factors. We aimed to investigate trends in ADHD diagnoses and associated risk factors.

ABSTRACT The well‐posedness results for mild solutions to the fractional neutral stochastic differential system with Rosenblatt process with Hurst index Ĥ∈12,1$$ \hat{H}\in \left(\frac{1}{2},1\right) $$ is discussed in this article. To demonstrate the results, the concept of bounded integral contractors is combined with the stochastic result and ...

Continuous approximations of a class of piece-wise continuous systems [PDF]
In this paper we provide a rigorous mathematical foundation for continuous approximations of a class of systems with piece-wise continuous functions. By using techniques from the theory of differential inclusions, the underlying piece-wise functions can ...
