CellPolaris decodes how transcription factors guide cell fate by building gene regulatory networks from transcriptomic data using transfer learning. It generates tissue‐ and cell‐type‐specific networks, identifies master regulators in cell state transitions, and simulates TF perturbations in developmental processes.

The Geometry of Layer 2/3 Cortical Sound Processing in Slow Wave Sleep
Sleep is associated with a sensory disconnection whose mechanisms remain elusive. Large neuronal population recordings in the auditory cortex revealed that, in NREM sleep, the neural code for sounds is highly similar to wakefulness, but coordinated modulations of neuron responsiveness intermittently disconnect the local cortical networks from sensory ...

Statistical HLA type imputation from large and heterogeneous datasets
An individual's Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) type is an essential immunogenetic parameter, influencing susceptibility to a variety of autoimmune and infectious diseases, to certain types of cancer and the likelihood of adverse drug reactions.I present and evaluate two models for the accurate statistical determination of HLA types for single-population

A Robust Serum Proteomic Signature of the E2 Allele of Apolipoprotein E
This study expands a serum protein signature of the e2 allele of APOE using multiple proteomic platforms and UK Biobank replication. The signature supports the role of APOE in lipid regulation through apolipoproteins and inflammation and includes, among others, neutrophil secreted granule proteins CAMP, CTSG, DEFA3, and MPO that point to inhibition of ...

Imputation and system modeling of acid-base state parameters for different groups of patients
The paper investigated the possibility of correct replacement of missing values in sets of acid-base state in the artery and vein in different groups of patients with different outcomes of the disease: “discharged”, “died”, “transferred to another ...

Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) remains a therapeutic challenge due to its heterogeneity and limited targets. Here, multi‐omics analyses are utilized, and it is revealed that AML cells, particularly the FLT3‐ITD+ subtype, undergo chaperone‐mediated ER stress, inducing surface translocation of ER chaperones.
