Asymmetric Whisker‐Inspired Sensor Pairs for Enhanced Airflow Sensing on Drones
This work incorporates asymmetric cross‐sections into a whisker‐inspired sensor pair to enhance airflow sensing. By comparing signals between two offset asymmetric whiskers, the system improves flow heading estimation and identifies the presence of fan‐generated wind during quadrotor flight.

A lightweight, modular soft robotic arm employs SMA actuation and a multi‐Hall‐magnet sensing system to achieve accurate omnidirectional shape proprioception. Each 35 g segment enables scalable assembly, while robust proprioception supports versatile navigation and manipulation in complex, unstructured environments.
