A sulfur fixation strategy via magnesium oxide is proposed to address sulfur dissolution in hard carbon anodes for sodium‐ion batteries. This method focuses on modifying the morphological structure of the hard carbon material, leading to significantly improved electrochemical performance.

The tandem process involves CO2 methanation and CH4 pyrolysis for CNT synthesis. Unreacted CO2 and H2 from methanation oxidize Fe, suppressing CNT growth on Fe‐only catalysts. Incorporation of Mo into Fe/MgO forms Mo2C, which prevents Fe oxidation under CO2/H2 conditions and thereby enables CNT formation.
