Effects of titania based catalysts on in-situ pyrolysis of Pavlova microalgae [PDF]

open access: yesFuel Processing Technology, 2017
Pavlova microalga was pyrolysed in presence of titania based catalysts in a fixed bed reactor at various temperatures. The effects of catalysts on Pavlova microalga pyrolysis were investigated. A large fraction of the starting energy (∼ 63–74% daf) was recovered in the bio-oils when the catalysts were used.

Pyrolysis of Huolinhe lignite extract by in-situ pyrolysis-time of flight mass spectrometry

open access: yesFuel Processing Technology, 2015
In this paper, tetrahydrofuran extract of Huolinhe lignite was selected as sample and a new in-situ pyrolysis-time of flight mass spectrometry (PV-TOF-MS) was used to study the evolution of initial pyrolysis products of extract. Electron impact mass spectrometry (El-MS) and vacuum ultraviolet photoionization mass spectrometry (VUV-PI-MS) were used to ...

Correlation between the surface infrared radiation and deformation characteristics of oil shale during uniaxial compression; pp. 70–88 [PDF]

open access: yesOil Shale, 2020
The emission of infrared radiation from oil shale is, compared with other rocks, more intense due to the anisotropy during deformation. In this research, cracks in oil shale specimens were scanned with computed tomography (CT) scanning equipment, and the
