American Cockroach, Periplaneta americana (Linnaeus) (Insecta: Blattaria: Blattidae)
The American cockroach, Periplaneta americana (Linnaeus), is the largest of the common peridomestic cockroaches measuring on average 4 cm in length. It occurs in buildings throughout Florida especially in commercial buildings.
