Summary The effect of l-dimethylarainoethyl-4-benzylpiperidine (IN379) on the spon-taneous atherosclerosis of White Carneau pigeons was studied. With the doses used there was no regression of aortic lesions in adult birds given the drug for 10 months, nor was there prevention of lesions in young birds given the drug for up to 24 months.
