MOFs and COFs in Electronics: Bridging the Gap between Intrinsic Properties and Measured Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent organic frameworks (COFs) hold promise for advanced electronics. However, discrepancies in reported electrical conductivities highlight the importance of measurement methodologies. This review explores intrinsic charge transport mechanisms and extrinsic factors influencing performance, and critically ...

PEDOT‐Based Eutectogel Electrode Arrays for Enhanced High‐Resolution Electrogastrography: Fabrication, Stability, and Wearable Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Here, we present a high‐density PEDOT eutectogel electrode array for enhanced body surface gastric mapping. Silver electrodes are blade‐coated onto flexible substrates, followed by electrogelation of PEDOT:PSS and the deposition of a PEDOT:LS eutectogel.

Degradation of Cowpea Chlorotic Mottle Virus Ribonucleic Acid in situ

open access: yesJournal of General Virology, 1978
Summary Immediately after purification of cowpea chlorotic mottle virus (CCMV) in situ degradation of RNA-2 into two distinct RNA fragments begins. Upon storage of purified virus, even at 4 °C, all four virus RNAs degraded into small heterogeneous pieces. Addition of thiols accelerated degradation, as did higher temperatures.
