Printable Conductive Hydrogels for Electrochemical Biosensing and Soft Bioelectronic Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Flexible, conductive hydrogels that integrate printability, mechanical tunability, biocompatibility, and electronic performance remain challenging to achieve. Here, we develop 3D‐printable poly(ethylene glycol)–poly(pyrrole)‐ hydrogels with tissue‐like mechanics, high cytocompatibility, and robust electrochemical function.

Enhanced oxidative leaching of copper-iron sulfides using photo-assisted electrochemical advanced oxidation processes

open access: yesChemical Engineering Journal Advances
In this work, the effectiveness of electro-Fenton and photoelectro-Fenton processes for enhancing the oxidative leaching of copper-iron sulfide minerals such as chalcopyrite (CuFeS2) and bornite (Cu5FeS4) in aqueous suspension was investigated.

Dual‐Physical‐Field Nanocatalysis: Injectable Hydrogel Enables Piezo‐Photothermal Synergy for Breast Cancer Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Piezocatalytic therapy (PCT) harnesses mechanical energy to generate tumor‐lethal reactive oxygen species (ROS), but its efficacy is limited by rapid electron‐hole recombination and poor intratumoral retention. To overcome these limitations, we engineered heterostructured BiOCl@CuO nanosheets embedded in an injectable, conductive ...

In Situ Leaching of Uranium

open access: yes, 1976
In situ leaching is a relatively new production method for uranium with several advantages. It will contribute an increasing portion of uranium supply as production turns to deposits inaccessible to conventional mining ...

Flow Microbalance Simulation of Pumping and Injection Unit in In Situ Leaching Uranium Mining Area

open access: yes, 2021
In situ leaching (ISL) uranium mining technology is an in situ mining technology in which the chemical solution is injected into the ore-bearing strata through drilling wells, and the solution moves along the ore bed by controlling the hydraulic gradient

In-Situ Leach Uranium Mining: A Review

open access: yesEnergy Exploration & Exploitation, 1983
This paper describes a current technique (ISL) in uranium mining, i.e. by solution or ‘leaching’. Although it is not yet widespread, it promises a relatively cheap and efficent means of extracting uranium from orebodies in sandstone deposits, such as those of the USA, Australia and Japan.

Highly Flexible and Conformable ZnO/FeGa Magnetoelectric Heterostructures for Skin wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The magnetic field‐induced electric field generated by a highly flexile ZnO(piezoelectric)/FeGa(magnetostrictive) magnetoelectric heterostructure embedded in the low Young's modulus elastomer PDMS has been used to stimulate the wound healing processes.

Toward Prostate Cancer Early Warning with a Self‐Powered Wearable Biosensing Platform Integrated with Machine Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Current prostate cancer detection methods remain limited in non‐invasiveness and specificity, prompting interest in urinary biomarkers such as sarcosine. Here, we report a urine‐powered wearable platform for non‐invasive sarcosine detection as a proof‐of‐concept for decentralized early warning.
